Re: North End Zone Project
Wouldn't bet the farm on this until there's some serious movement and approval out of the legislature. Concept is fascinating, but it will evolve... if it gets off the ground at all in the next 5 years. I don't think we need approval from the legislature. It is a Public-Private Partnership, which a...

No. The track was gone on the rendering I saw. The seats in the back of the end zone were as close as you could get them.AppinVA wrote:The curve concerns me. Is that a curve around the arc of a track?

Re: North End Zone Project
My question is how would this affect our ability to place permanent seating in the north end zone? X,000 seats below with (the visible) club seating above? I'm sure it's there, it's just pictured in the rendering. I've seen a rendering from the vantage point of the top middle east stands. I'm sure ...

Re: Toledo Board
If this is redundant I apologize I didn't see another thread. I ventured over to their board, their reaction to this game is mindboggling. Calling for Candle's resignation and proclaiming it the worst loss in program history. How can losing a game Vegas had lined out as a pick 'em be that bad even ...

Re: JMU vs NDSU
App made the decision to move up despite not being invited to CUSA and it sure seems like the right move...for us. This may not be the case for everyone. JMU's administration may have decided that the cost of moving up plus the cost of travel in the Sun Belt was not worth it. If, one day we get mor...

Re: JMU vs NDSU
As far as I know, we don't know all of JMU's reasons for declining a Sun Belt invite. We assume it's because they think their program is above the Sun Belt and that's why they were waiting for a CUSA invite. Could it be that they just see being in a conference with ODU and Marshall makes more sense...

Re: JMU vs NDSU
We are just so full of ourselves that if someone doesn't do what we do or what we want they are wrong. They chose to not join the Sun Belt so they are not realistic, they are too good for us and on and on. I actually don't like JMU even a little bit but I also don't think they are idiots. I think t...

Got that Fargo Done packed out looks like. This is two programs alongside Montana that I don't see why they don't move up See NDST and Montana can't move up because of conference allighment there are no conferences near them JM on the other hand thinks there too good for the sun belt because they t...

Re: JMU vs NDSU
Just think in the old world we could quite possibly be playing this game These 2 teams could win the Sunbelt. They're definitely the exception to the FCS rule. Fun game. GO APPS! I'm not so sure about that. The first thing I noticed when I tuned in the 3rd was the size and speed of both teams compa...

Re: Almost a sellout!!
Yep. No way we see at 65% to 70% drop off due to a return to the same location. We are better, the opponent is better. I think we will see a 10% to 20% drop off at the most. I think Toledo will bring 10% to 20% more fans than Ohio.

Re: Almost a sellout!!
over/under 2500 app fans there? I'm going under, but hope to be surprised. Way over! There were approx 21,000 last year (tickets sold). I think I remeber Ohio had around 3,000, maybe less, with an est 10,000 local based on news reports. I think we sold out of our first allotments and close to the s...
