Re: MSOC, Hartwick battle to 2 OT scoreless draw
I don't follow MSOC that closely, but Harwick is a traditional power. MSOC and Women Water Polo plays up from DIII. MSOC is their football in a way. This isn't your daddy's Hartwick by any stretch of the imagination. The Hawks won the NCAA Div. I national championship in '77 and were strong in the ...

A winless Hartwick team takes the Apps to 2 OT in the Catskills. Not a good outcome.

One would hope that he'll display more maturity in Jim Fox's team huddle than was displayed on that high school mix tape. One caper like that with Fox and he'll ride the pine for a month.AppState89 wrote:He looks pretty damn good.

The world is upside down again. The Cherokee Boys Club leads the 'Dins 14-3 near the half. The Furmies have a game on their hands on their home turf. CCC scores again; 21 - 3.

Major eyebrow raiser. I believe BOT has zero confidence in SNE to hire an AD. Unsubstantiated, just personal opinion. I join you in that opinion. How on real earth did SNE fail to name Oval Jaynes (a member of Collegiate Athletic Director's Hall of Fame, a resident of Blowing Rock and an Appalachia...

They barely have enough dorms to qualify as a suitcase college. Still a commuter college...a CC.

Re: Helmets
The more I see the black A on the helmets on tv, the more I desperately want the white block A back. You can barely see the black A on tv. The school wants branding and they aren't using their most visible product to showcase the A which pops better, and you can actually see it on tv and in person ...

Re: Sunday morning QB ---
I don't know why its so hard for spread offenses to go under center when the situation calls for it. Sat night Clemson did the exact same thing, 4th and 1/2 yd in overtime, 6'2 qb, instead takes the shotgun snap, hands off to running back, slow developing play, gave FS defensive line time to react,...

Re: Sunday morning QB ---
I know many are calling our play calling conservative and I know that we had a new QB making his first start but I don't really see a whole lot of difference with what we did Saturday to what we have been doing for many years with this offense. Everything is underneath the safeties in space then re...

A friend of mine is going to be in Boone for work next week. He wants to get in some golf. Need recommendations. He's a 6 handicap (legit, seen his game in person) so looking for some challenging courses as well as scenery. The best courses are private (read as) Grandfather Club, Elk River, et al. ...
