I agree. We need to work him into the flow of the game better. I know that stud is capable of toting the rock 20 times a game all year.

Re: College Game Day Is Coming To BOONE!
It's not their job to care. Stop being so self centered to think people have to care about us. They don't care about most of the schools they do shows for. They are entertainers. Their job is to be sent somewhere by espn to create an entertaining talk show about football games. Stop being such self...

Re: Interesting side notes.
I said in the game thread the dropped wide open TD in the 4th reminded me of the dropped Quick TD at Mich. Of course, how did I not see that as well? Maybe it's still the goosebumps, on Sunday morning  luv it. I hated it for Wells when he dropped that one. It may have been the best thing to ...

Our offensive play calling is light years ahead of where we’ve been.

Re: UNC game discussion
So, after two days, i went back and watched the highlights and revisited the box score. There is no excuse for our defense to give up 56 points (the onside kick was separate from that). But, we usually make adjustments at halftime and if you look at a couple of strings of events: First, with roughl...

Re: UNC game discussion
If you're offended by the University of non-compliance than I'm not sure you understand the decades of hypocrisy and the depth of the scandal. They need to own that. Now should he have led with that to an individual volunteering their time for the call, no, I can agree with that specific use. I'm g...

9/17/2016 Never forget This why I am trying so hard to temper my expectation. I know a lot of our fans are uber confident and expect us to win. I expect us to win. But there is probably a higher chance that we get blown out vs App blowing out the tarholes. To be frank, we looked bad in 2 of our big...

Re: UNC Game Depth Chart
Since McBride is a dual threat QB, it will be interesting to see if we see a wrinkle in the game plan by giving him a change of pace series. There are pluses and minuses to this, but it could catch a defense off guard. Like to see him used as a WR from time to time, then run a WR pass with him. It ...

Re: UNC game discussion
My biggest concerns for us in this game, and season, are threefold. One, whether our new fairly inexperienced DL rotation can get consistent pressure in the backfield. and specifically on the QBs. Two, whether our new very inexperienced WR group can make consistent plays (including appropriate bloc...

Re: Win
Mack probably isn't taking this game lightly it is going to take a lot of the ball bouncing our way to win. It's about the Jimmys and Joes, it's our 3 stars against their 4-5 star players. It took one of our best teams in our history and the ball bouncing our way and blocked field goal and a coach ...

Totally get what you’re saying and I agree but let’s play the dudes that give us the best chance to win. That said, he probably needs a year to sit.Seattleapp wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 9:10 amWe need to hope it’s not KanyeNattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 9:07 amOut of these impact players, which do you think are potential game changers? We’ll then I cannot wait to see the Christian’s streaking down the sideline toward paydirt and yes I realize their names have two different spellings.KingStLocal wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 9:41 pmIf we are able to run consistently, we can absolutely beat them. Re: Marshall fans already poking the bear
Glad Marshall is in the SBC and will be an annual opponent for us. I love going there and most of the fans I have met are friendly, well behaved, and mature. They love their school like we love ours. Marshall fans are first class. I went to an NCSU game at their place a few years back on a guys tri...

Re: UNC Football ticket allotment
So what I hear you saying is that exclusivity is driving up the price of the ticket. Supply and demand, who knew? I wanted to go to this game as soon as it was announced, the same as I did for Wake Forest (I had to move on the day of this game sadly), South Alabama 2014, Arkansas State in 2016, and...

Add Dexter Jackson to that list for me and Hans Batichon while we’re at it. Also, I have a soft spot for Patrick Blalock who always played bigger than his true size.

For me it was either 401 to Lillington onto 421, or 87 through Spring Lake to Sanford to pick up 421. And, before one of you Millennials asks, yes it was definitely up-hill and in the snow. And it was up-hill both ways from my memories Those were good times brother. Re: Projected football depth after Spring
I'm penciling in Bucky Williams at Center.Could be an upgrade at that position. Not sure about left tackle. Quite possible. We have a great deal of versatility in the middle. We have six guys that can play guard and three of those guys plus Everette can play Center. ‘94, what do you know about wher...
