If Cadet was healthy that's a very good sign that he didn't dress.

I think he and Middleton both make it.

:the team waived wide receiver Tony Washington with an injury designation. If Washington goes unclaimed he will revert to the Jaguars injured reserve.Washington suffered a concussion during Jacksonville's preseason opener only to go down with a hamstring injury in practice Tuesday. He was subsequently released with an injury designation, but no timeline was provided for his return.

Middleton waived by Jets. If he clear waivers Jets will put him on practice squad.

Man, surprised at that. Really thought Middleton might make the roster.

Hope he lands somewhere solid. What I saw from him in preseason looked pretty good.

My understanding is that some of the teams who had him on their draft radar did plan to give him a look at QB, unfortunately the Panthers were not one of those teams. I know there are many, many Panther fans on this board but I lost any interest that I ever had in seeing the Panthers win anything as a result of Armanti’s tenure with them. I know that the main culprit was John “I’d rather go with Brian St. Pierre who hasn’t taken a snap in two years than give Edwards a chance” Fox and he is no longer with the team. The reason I no longer pull for the Panthers is the way many of their fans trashed him from day one. It got to where I could not even go on the Panther message boards due to all the hateful comments directed at AE and in many cases at the Appalachian football program. I know all fan bases have their share of idiots and uninformed dolts and I know I should just get over it and move on but I can’t. One reason is that a few of those AE haters are people I know personally (not ASU folks of course) and they still bring up the "wasted draft pick" to me from time to time as if he were the only pick they ever made that did not pan out.
None of the people "who screwed" AE are affiliated with the Panthers anymore, but hold tight to that grudge and ignorance. BTW AE wasn't a good pro, it's not the end of the world.

Is Jeremy Kimbrough anywhere or did get injured in the preseason last year that ended it for him? Seem to remember he was doing well in Washington last year.

I never said AE was "screwed", so I am not sure what you meant by putting that in quotes and I did mention that I am aware that Fox is no longer with the team. I don't see how my not being a Panther fan makes me "ignorant", like you I'm just stating my opinion. Oh, and thanks for reminding me it's not the end of the world, now I can step back from the ledge.

Count me ignorant then. I've been a Packers fan since Bart Starr played in Green Bay ... before expansion brought football to anywhere close to the southeast.

For the record, I do not count either Washington DC or Baltimore (Colts when I was a kid; Ravens now) as being in the southeast. Teams in Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, Charlotte, and Jacksonville all arrived on the scene after I became a Packers fan. End of history lesson ... I'm taking my ignorant self back to work. :D

I knew there would be others reasons I liked you - I was all Packers back in the day - Bart Starr, Jim Taylor, Paul Hornung, Bowd Dowler, Max McGee, Ray Nitschke, Willie Davis, Herb Adderly, Willie Wood - I'll stop there but I could come awfully close to, if not 100%, to naming every starter --- Still pull for the Packers -

We finally have a hometown team to pull for and you people are mired in the past..............I really hate the the Cowboys and have no use for the Steelers or Packers or any other NFL TEAM . Grew up a fan of Skins and 49ers but swore my loyalty to a NFL team if it cam to NC ...........GO PANTHERS
