Update on NFL info

Question is how many of the 19 make a roster on opening day? I am going to guess between 10 and 13 of them.

I'd have a hard time even guessing. Late free agent signings, injuries, sinking in-depth charts, changes in schemes, and too many things that could knock them out of a spot. I'm hoping at a minimum 10 stick on rosters. I like having us represented by double digits.

I altered my guess to 10-13 but I do think we have double digit players between the 53 and PS. One reason I believe we definitely have double digits are the expanded practice squads. I fully expect a few players to make it that otherwise would not have 10 years ago because of increased jobs when they adjusted from COVID.

Saw an article on the Broncos, Virgil was injured and placed on IR. Outlook for the season was not good.

I saw this morning they had moved him to IR section on roster page. Done for the year. Sad to see but at least he accrues another season.

Good question. I would hope he did but never know where his head was at. If he did not have it by December I doubt he finished in the spring.

Not a good sign. The last 3 on that picture might be done. Obviously Virgil is hurt but I could see an injury settlement

Absolutely did and it looked even worse on coaches tape than from TV angle.

You have to wonder if there was anything he really could have done last night to make the roster. He didn't play a snap in the first 2 games. I did not watch it until the end but saw the replay on what appeared to be a TD. He must not have made a huge impression in camp. Hope he lands somewhere or moves on with what he wants to do.

I think a big game could have put him in position to make the practice squad but not enough to make the 53-man roster. He never stood out in camp supposedly.
