His O-line doesn't seem to be helping much. BC's getting into the backfield too easily.

8th catch for Armanti pushes him over 100 yards and goes in for a TD!

Argos QB really struggling. That's 3 turnovers for the Argos.

Good news is AE with 10 catches for 131 yards. It's great to see him doing well!

"Both Toronto and Ottawa’s receiving corps have been exceptional to start the 2017 season, with players from both teams making up the league’s top four in receiving yards.

Argos WRs DeVier Posey (12-218-1TD) and Armanti Edwards (16-209-1TD) rank first and second league-wide in receiving yards after each has tallied back-to-back games of 70+ yards. "

This is from the Argos Game Notes for this week:

"•Newcomer Armanti Edwards has quietly been a sure-handed target for QB Ricky Ray. The second-year CFLer has hauled in all 16 passes he’s been targeted on for 209 yards and a touchdown this season. Edwards is one of only two receivers (SSK’s Nic Demski – 14) in the CFL to have caught every pass thrown their way."

Pretty impressive - 16 targets = 16 catches

Edwards interview. He's always been southern, but very well spoken and humble. Great App ambassador.

Also, they play tonight at 7.

I watched the Toronto / Ottowa game. Toronto sputtered in the first half but came back looking strong in the 2nd. They have a receiver named Green who was on fire! Armanti looks very solid. That being said, he was targeted for one pass that he didn't catch. Maybe it was ruled un-catchable. I didn't see the re-play but they were talking about thinking the sun was in his eyes.

The CFL is a great place for a receiver to build his chops. Wide open throwing games.

That was the first pass in 17 targets this season AE missed. Plus he was looking into the sun. I give him a bye on that one easily.

I so wish he would have done this long ago but I am happy for him now.
