What's the status of Jalin Moore? I just checked and he's still on the Jets injured non football injury list. Is he still rehabbing? Are the Jets paying him? Lord knows they need help.

Yes , he was .He and "the Professor" would spend a few weeks in Boone during the summer. They were complete opposites personality wise. Griese was a fine man but very reserved , Matheson's personality filled the room wherever he went and we really hit it off.I spent a lot of time listening to stories and evaluations of NFL teammates and opponents.Anyway #53 battled cancer , beating it back for years but ultimately losing.I was shaken to hear the news. There is a lot more to the story but what I folks should know is that Bob Matheson was the kind of man that could connect with you , make you feel important ,because you knew he cared about you .He was the ultimate team mate in that regard.I'll never forget those days ….

Back in 72 (I think) just after The Dolphins Super Bowl win, Bob Matheson appeared at one of our (Watauga) wrestling practices. I think he and our coach (Bill Brown) were friends. I remember he had to duck to get through the door into the wrestling room, big fella. Also, remember him talking of their Super Bowl victory.Stonewall wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 2:14 pmYes , he was .He and "the Professor" would spend a few weeks in Boone during the summer. I can’t believe Jalin Moore isn’t on an NFL roster. I thought he was an NFL guy for sure.
