Duck to CFL
Just saw this on Twitter. No idea how this impact's him playing in the XFL or if it dies at all. But it's good to see more people noticing him.

Re: Duck to CFL
Malachi signed with the CFL as well. He was drafted by the XFL as well, so I wonder if they're thinking that the CFL is the better bet.

Re: Duck to CFL
Duck got up with an agent over the last month and he helped line up this deal for Duck. I think he felt like the CFL was more stable.

Re: Duck to CFL
Just a quick glance but it looks like the money is better with the CFL currently. Just don't know what the difference in exposure to NFL talent evaluators between the two leagues will be

Re: Duck to CFL
XFL is probably a risky bet. Every football league not called the NFL in the US has eventually folded (except arena football and that's a sh!tshow of a situation in its own right). Whereas the CFL is going on 60+ years. I'd be singing O' Canada too.
(It's a fun league to watch too, lots of heart in there)

Re: Duck to CFL
Plenty of guys from college and even the NFL head north expecting a cakewalk and find out quick there are grown ass men playing pro ball in Canada. Have been for a long time.
The CFL is great football and I’d be willing to bet money it’ll be there long after the XFL has died again. Any App player looking to extend his pro career that can’t make the NFL would be smart to join a team if they can make it. If they are good enough, it’s an awesome avenue back to the NFL.

Good for Clifton, the young man loves the game and the competition. Glad he’s going to get to play football again.

Re: Duck to CFL
This is excellent news for Duck and fans of former App players in the pros.
The CFL is fun to watch and he'll thrive in an environment where they throw it up a lot.
