Figured we might as well start the thread now that Evans has had his measurements taken.
Wing-
Height. Weight. Hand. Arm. Span
5' 10 1/8" 203. 9 2/8" 31 5/8". 76 5/8"

Much bigger than I expected. When he runs his 40 and other agility drills I believe his stock will soar.

Davis-Gaither projected 3rd round pick. Evans will be RB12 at the combine. Have not seen what LB# Davis-Gaither will be. Go APPS!

Finally saw Akeems numbers posted:

Height. Weight. Hand. Arm. WSpan
6'1 4/8" 224 9 1/2" 31 1/8" 75 1/8"

Still a little light but we know he can play at that weight and his explosiveness should help ease any of those detractors.

There’s a good couple minute video on LB’s from Daniel Jeremiah. Talked about LSU LB and OU LB and interviewer said I’m surprised you didn’t lead with the App State Star..... he said that he is a sideline-to-sideline guy that can cover... I like Akeem a lot... The sweet spot for him is the 3rd round.... said great heart and got a great education too.... thank you Daniel J.

Very interesting he gained 5 pounds since the Senior Bowl. Hope he maintains the projected 4.5 speed. If so, then that will answer size questions. 6'1 1/2 225 pounds or so is big enough for sure to stay at LB.

NFL.com will post the electronic times but I'll get some hand held 40s from some scouts and post those. It will be interesting to see those because they use hand held at pro days and it is the best way to use apples to apples comparisons.

Darryton did 20 reps on the bench. He has the drill portion tomorrow with a real chance to make some money!

Yeah, big day for Darrynton..... particularly the 40..... money day today... guess it will be between 4-8 pm. Really interested to see what he’ll run... shall we start guessing? I think if he runs in the mid 4.4’s he’ll move up the board. Of course any lower than he’ll go higher and if he runs a low 4.5 I think he’ll move down the board.

I've seen articles from the past couple of years where Darryton has ran a hand timed 4.39. Obviously this is completely different but he has been working for awhile on just combine specific drills and we all know how he performs when the lights are the brightest.

I don't know how I didn't see this in January but it's a great read. I didn't know he was the Top Scholar for the Sun Belt according to Street and Smith. One class from graduating and he says that degree is very important to him. Very polished young man.

Just found this from two days ago, how have we not talked about this? It appears he comes from a great family, not going to lie I cried a little bit reading it. He is using his combine performance to raise money for Endometrial Cancer Action Network for African-Americans with a goal of $2500. As of Wednesday he was at $2120. I'm pretty sure we can help push this information far and wide to get that number well over his goal. Just when I thought I couldn't be more impressed with him.

20 reps is a solid number for him. Just for reference, Badger's All-American RB, Jonathan Taylor put up 17. UNCC's Lemay put up 24 and the group position high was 29.

As for DE's 40, I'm hoping for sub 4.4 and I'll guess 4.37.

LeMay is very strong so I'm not shocked. He will get drafted. I'm not sure exactly what Taylor would run but I would imagine Evans will beat him for sure.

My guess is 4.40 for Evans and 4.55 for Gaither. I had a scout say 4.36-4.40 range for Evans and 4.53-4.57 for Gaither. I feel like by Monday it should be easy to tell if both should end up in the top 100 or just one does.

ULLLLLLLLLL's RB Raymond Calais put up 20 reps as well. Someone from ULLLLLLLLLLL might want to inform Raymond that he attended U of Louisiana and not Louisiana-Lafayette since they've worked so hard on sports branding.

As for ADG, hoping he can put up at least 24 reps on the bench and sub 4.55 40 to help boost his stock. The fastest 40 time I recall in recent memory for a LBer was UCF's one handed prospect, Shaquem Griffin, who posted an official 4.38.

Taylor has track speed, his only issue is his fumbling but everything else is elite.

He can definitely run but Evans has track speed too and Taylor is heavier than Evans. Taylor ran a 10.49 100m in HS and Evans ran like a 10.2 100m so Evans should beat him by a little bit. I would guess mid 4.4 for Taylor. Taylor has great COD and strength. he also has long speed, which many runners don't have. Certainly a great player. He is a round 1 talent for sure.

Scouts expect mid to high 4.5s from Gaither. The only way he drops at all is if he only runs 4.6s or 4.7s. He is considered a round 3 or late 2 possibility now with the expectation of a 4.55 or so. If he runs 4.4s then he will make some more money.

ADG with a solid 21 reps on the bench press.
