Coop is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Jacksonville.. between being from the area and his pre-practice "tugboat tumbles" for the crowd, the Jaguar fans are rooting hard for him.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in preseason depth charts. Rookies always end up at the bottom (see Bijan at RB3 for the falcons on theirs). With that said - he’s probably fighting for a practice squad spot with a Small chance he could make the 53 but he’s not a big special teams guy so he’s got an uphill climb

The thing is that while the Panthers may see Cams potential and want to place him on the practice squad, they are also watching film and waiver wires for other guys across the NFL that might be a better fit. The NFL is a business and it can be pretty messy sometimes.

Cam has no business returning punts. It is funny you say that about the size because Hennigan was 6'1, 210 pounds and he was a punt returner for us though.

Side note, the Panthers just cannot find a good color guy... Like Robinson before him, Smith has a long way to go in that role...just because one was a great player for an organization, does not mean they are a good commentator. Just my opinion

I have not heard him but I don't doubt it. It is really hit or miss with famous ex-players in those jobs.

The preseason certainly has not started well for Cam then.
