Armanti was too small to play QB in the NFL….Bryce Young is 1/2 inch shorter and 10 lbs heavier…why I will hate Fox forever, and by association gave up on tbePanthers.

Darrynton Evans back with the Bears.

Chicago lost Khalil Herbert on Thursday with a high-ankle sprain and picked up Evans, who was with the team all of last year. Most likely he'll see some snaps as Chicago goes runningback-by-committee for a few weeks.

Times changed. I believe had Armanti come along 10 years later that he could have been a second or late first round pick as a QB. I would have taken Armanti over Trey Lance to be honest.

Exactly. Haven’t watched a Panthers game this season. There’s plenty of other things on tv. I watched the world wide carrying championships the other day. Infinity more entertaining than the Panthers.

And I actually should have said - and that's the game given to us - I've watched a little of 2 games. I wanted to see how Bryce Young was doing because I really liked watching him at Alabama - he has absolutely NO help around him.

You know I find it troubling (really not the right word but what just came to my mind) that App doesn't have any guys playing much at all in NFL games. I used to check on games or watch games just to see how our guys were doing but other than Sam Martin (who before yesterday wasn't getting much action thru no fault of his own) I honestly haven't seen any. Figured ADG would be a starter by now and he isn't even on the stat sheet. We've had several CBs who I thought would be playing by now - Don't get me wrong, I care deeply how these young men perform for App much more so than the NFL, but I would hope we would have had more guys to watch on Sundays -

Maybe I don't keep up with it as much as I used to, but I feel like we had more players regularly playing in the NFL when we were FCS.
