From CBSSports.com DJ was signed today. I want to wish him the best of luck and hope he's back to 100%. Hopefully he'll pick up their D quickly and can get on the field soon. Ball Out Mr. Smith!!!!!

I was just getting ready to post it. I hadn't looked at the transactions pages until just few minutes ago. I really hope he can recover to 100% and make a team during the offseason. To go from a starter to this because of a cheap shot is sad.

Did read on the Texans page that they got their 2 ILBs back from injury quicker than expected so maybe it was not his performance but strictly a numbers game ---

It is pretty crazy how one play can change your whole career. We had a MLB back in the 80's named Darrel Booker. He's our all time leading tackler and had he not gotten booted out of school at the end of his Junior year would have been a high draft pick. Regardless of his attitude the Saints snatched him up and he was poised for greatness and in practice suffered a neck injury vs Iron Head Hayword and that was that. It's a crazy, crazy sport.
That being said...I can still picture #9 in that bad ass black visor getting ready for the ball to snap and straight up murdering people. I hope he catches on with someone but if not, he was a special player for you guys. I was sad to see AE put on IR as well...Hopefully next year he can be the new Cribbs for the Browns

This is to protect themselves when they do not re-sign Thomas Davis after they spend about 75mil. on Da Kraken!

I hope this isn't the case...I am a big TD fan. I would hope that he'd recognize what the Panthers did for him. Most teams would not let him get past one torn ACL, let alone three (though, I'd obviously love to see DJ on the field in the black and blue!).

I love the Kraken, even if he went to Hogwarts!
