According to Nick Shepherd of the Kingsport Times-News, 49ers guard Daniel Kilgore was arrested for public intoxication last weekend near his Tennessee home.

Well at least he didn't try to strangle somebody.

Since when is public intoxication a crime in Tennessee?

If that is really the whole story I only see two possibilities. Ether they were doing more than just walking down the street or the cop was a jerk. If all I can do is guess from his history here at ASU I think it just may be the latter.

I am not a cop myself, just have been around them all my life and was out with a Chief and a couple of the guys when we read your comment. Well in that case I better take back my quick on the trigger comment as I am sure he is not.

If Kilgore had gone to UT we wouldn't be hearing about this. Seriously this is a misdemeanor offense and is not that big a deal unless he resisted..... Sounds like he went along peacefully and cooperated. Pay the $150 fine and find a cab next time".
