Brief (too brief) sights and sounds of the marching band on Fox/Panthers-Lions game.

I heard Hi Hi Yikas. That's good enough for me.

I can't believe that the Panthers would allow the Marching Mountaineers into BofA stadium, seeing as how they have such a deep-seeded organizational hatred of anything ASU.

It was great to see the band today- they represented us very well. it was hard to hear them at times. We need to double the size, especially when playing large stadiums

Just asking but why do you think the Panthers organization hates App. ?

Yep! My ears definitely perked up when I heard it as well.

I wish the BOD would have played Kasmir. But they looked good and got nice appalause from the crowd. I was proud to see them.

Definitely an unexpected sight while watching the game this afternoon, but a pleasant one nonetheless!

I was at the game and watched the band. They were very well received by the fans. Many of the fans were giving the band "high fives" from the stands as they exited the stadium. They also had good close-ups of the band on the large screens in the stadium during the performance.

It was nice seeing them. Appears to be a lot of member this year too.

Has anyone been over to the Huddle today to see if they are complaining that our band got some PT?

That pic seems to indicate between 200 and 300 band members.

I was driving down River St last night as they got back. 7 buses.

I was at the game yesterday, and the program had them listed at 280 members.

The program was short, but it was awesome to see them perform and they were well received by the crowd.

Spelled out PANTHERS.

Did play the fight song as they left the field.

No. They played abbreviated Superman Theme with a nice Superman emblem and then played Sweet Caroline........then the App Fight Song as they left the field. The did spell out panthers too.

Why are there so many empty seats in the second deck? That many gone to get beer and/or take a leak?

What is the history of Appfan? Started by a disgrunted MMB poster? Are the posters there all mad at MMB for some reason?
