Happened like 30 minutes ago. Braves just made a trade for LHP prospect out of the Angels organization, Ricardo Sanchez. Nate sent over along with Kyle Kubitza. Best of luck to him out in Cali.

With Kimbrel, Walden, and Carpenter, Hyatt wasn't making it to the bigs anytime soon.

would rather have seen him traded to a team I want to root for though. Seattle or Washington would've been awesome

Walden & Carpenter have both already been traded. Now it's Kimbrel & Jason Grilli.

Those two being traded aside, Hyatt would've had to compete with guys like Shae Simmons, James Russell, Adroys Vizcaino, Michael Kohn, etc who all are young. Uphill battle to crack a bullpen with that depth. Not even all of those guys may make the active roster on opening day with all the veterans they've signed.

Advantage for Hyatt is that the Angels are one of the few teams in baseball that have less farm depth than the Braves .

Should be a good move for Nate - but was hoping to see him take the field in Braves colors one day!

We still have Tyler Tewell though! And - from a non-Braves note, looks like Ryan Arrowood will start next season at least at the AA level with the Rockies...

One of these days, we App will get someone to the show! Just a matter of time...

The craziest thing about this trade, is the guy the Brave's picked up from the Halos is JUST 17 years old! Ricardo Sanchez was signed in 2013 to a $580K signing bonus.

We have. Ron Hodges played for the Mets for over a decade and one game in the World Series.

Mike Ramsey circa 75-76, played for the Cards for many years and I think was in a World Series as well.
