I'm very happy for JLJ. I enjoyed watching him play and the maturity he showed, even when things didn't go his way. JLJ continues to support and encourage current AppState athletes...even overseas. Best of luck, JLJ!

I will say this....JLJ or the people around him were not saints when he was benched for Bryant. That was part of the locker room struggles Satterfield had his first season. Kids were loyal to Jackson and felt he was benched because he was a senior. It really put Scott in a tough spot.
Also many of you forget JLJ and his mom approached Coach Talley of Villanova right after our playoff lose. I mean on the field, right after.

I know many players have a dream of playing football. However at some point it may be time to give up on that dream. If you are down to playing for the Danube Dragons, that might be the time. I dont know how much they make, but it cant be much. CFL players make no where near the money NFL players make, and I bet it is way more than a European league. The injury risk is still as great. I dont think the risk is worth the reward if you are on the Danube.

The Villanova loss was soul crushing, and I don't really blame him or his Mom for that knee-jerk reaction (which nothing ever came of).
I also don't understand why people would discourage him from playing professionally if he can. You really think he'd be making more money or having more fun with a 9 to 5? He gets to live in Europe and play quarterback. That's a hell of an opportunity for personal growth, especially outside of football.

I have spent some time with players over there and I have to tell you they are having a ball. I was in a club In Switzerland and a couple of players walked in and the place went nuts.
