I guess I will have to see if I can pick up some Canadian Football this summer! Anybody know where (or if) those games are available?

I think ESPN shows a fair number of games. I seem to remember quite a few on ESPN3, but some on the main channels, as well.

They cut one former App State DB for another former App State DB. It be cool if Mark Legree still played on this team, to have three former Mountaineers.

Where do we stand on Ed Gainey? Falsely accused? The victim of an unjust system? I am certainly willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I don't know what to think. His departure from APP was the equivalent of a dishonorable discharge if I recall correctly.

He was found responsible in a student court and banned from campus for eight semesters after a mes of a process. Student court no longer handles sexual assault cases because of that mess. The Watauga DA declined to prosecute the case. Tanyi sued the school and they reached a settlement not that long ago.

Both sides agreed that sex happened. Whether it was consensual or not, only the people who were involved know for sure.

New article on Gainey and his progress at the Roughrider's training camp. The new head coach seems positive on him. The Rider's defense, and especially the secondary, was a big part of the franchise's worst season ever last year, so he's got an opportunity to make a big impact.

*note I posted in the AE thread that it appears as though he has retired. Edwards is no longer listed on the roster. Saskatchewan is down to 2 former Apps, in Ed Gainey and Will Corbin.

Yes saw this yesterday. I tried to find out more about the "retired" list. I'm pretty sure from what I have read that you can become active off the retired list. The team can call you up... but the article referred you to the CFL By-laws section 9.... Haven't done that yet.
