Kilgore and Blair locks for 49ers. Kilgore starts at center and Blair is looking like 1st tackle coming off the bench
McCray and Washington Jags. Both are on the bubble. Demetrius been struggling. Washington needs Special Teams to make it
Kendall Lamm- lock for Texans...may start.
Quick...Colts been dropping balls and coach ain't happy. He could be on the waiver wire.
Sam Martin Lions..lock and still kicking

That 3 year average NFL career is really pretty valid isn't it?

Surprised McCray isn't safer. Otherwise matches what I'd expect. Haven't heard any updates on Middleton in a few days but it sounded like he was doing really well with the Jets at least in the first few weeks of camp.

Don't practice squad guys make decent money- comparatively speaking? Better than out looking for a real job!

Answer to the question is:

Practice squad players earn significantly less than players on the active roster, but they still take home a solid weekly paycheck. NFL practice squad players make a minimum of $6,900 per week that they are on the practice squad.

If a player remains on the practice squad for an entire regular season (at a minimum salary of $6,900 per week), he would earn a minimum of $117,300 over the full regular season if he keeps his spot on the practice squad. If a team makes the playoffs, these payments continue for as long as the team is in the playoffs.

To protect their players from other teams, or because they really like the potential of a given player, some teams pay their roster squad players significantly more. There is no limit to how much a team can pay a player on the practice squad, although the practice squad contracts do count against the salary cap.

As long as you're doing Q&A, Rek , do you know when the next round of roster cutdowns will be? And when they'll make final cuts? Sorry for being too lazy to Google it.

I knew it was in that ballpark. Certainly not NFL player money but six figures ain't bad. Smart guys would live as cheap as possible and bank some of that and hope for a break.

It would be interesting to see a stat of how many guys were on a practice squad for a full year then went on to play at least a full season as a roster player

Middleton is on Jets Prax squad. Cadet has made Saints for now. McCray and Washington cut by Jags.
