I'm sure there are a few CUSA members who regret the same.

Not to miss the forest for the trees, realistically both conferences in terms of top to bottom quality, are more or less equal and will likely jockey for position year in and year out. They have some better brands we have a better financial situation. They have bigger markets we have a better commissioner. They have *some* spotty broadcast TV distribution we have the ever reliable ESPN3. Some years they'll be better some years we'll be better.
