Another SBC East team beating SBC West. In fact, currently the only 2 conference wins by SBC West teams are against Tx State. SBC West teams will need to start playing each other to get some more conference W's.

I realize that it was a midweek game and GA So was on the road, but Texas State seemed to defend the triple option effectively. They held Ga So to 15 pts, their lowest point total all season other then against Clemson. That was also the lowest number of points that Tx State had given up all season. Tx State's defense seemed strong, but their offense struggled much of the game.
