Super Conferences looking to form their own division?

Many have already predicted that this is an inevitable eventuality, but this is the first major article I've seen. This could send AGS into def con 4.

What's interesting about this is that Saban seems to be suggesting that interdivisional games would not be played anymore.

That may work well for the Alabamas of the top 5 conferences, but I doubt will go well for the lower half of schools that need games vs the bottom 5 anc FCS in order to get bowl eligilble. The other coaches and admins won't be too happy when they go from 7-8 wins most years to 4-5 wins.

Or they could just stop being greedy selfish pigs and just have a playoff like every other sport that matters on the high school, college, and pro level.

Just another reason to dislike Nick Saban. Will be a pleasure to see BAMA wilt again when he leaves. Arrogant, arrogant, arrogant!

This could lead to a playoff for the Group of Five as well enabling those who bemoaned loss of the FCS playoffs to enjoy life once again.

The formation of these 5 super conferences along with the CBS and ESPN networks forms a cartel and shuts out everyone else for the money of any size to make a difference for their programs. I think it puts APP in a similar position to being I-AA and FCS, we just will soon have 85 football scholarships instead of 63.

As I see it, we will still be among the bastard children of the football world and never another chance at a national title in our life time.

I am for our progress, as we never been members of the football country club, but I am hearing that these Super Conference schools will only play each other, thus shutting the door on any opportunity because of our lack of credit score and pedigree to play them.

Estimated 25 million bucks alone, annually, for each SEC school by their formation of the conference network.
