I saw a video interview he just did where he said he told them he was staying and then the next week they brought him in and told him they wanted to go in a different direction, so he entered the portal. I've heard nothing on the teams part...but I haven't really searched either. I assume they meant McCall.

LOL. He was the starter and sat himself to not lose a year of eligibility and transfer. I’d want to go in a different direction as well.

Having family members who are up there in the Wolfpack Club, there were two sides to the story. The situation was similar to what App dealt with last year with Everett and his helicopter dad…with the exception being that Troy wanted to be here. NCSU fans are glad to see Morris gone.
