Re: Saban
Definitely the best to ever do it. Congrats on a great career coach.
Hold on it’s about to get wild! And if Harbaugh goes back to the NFL…good lord.
GO APPS!!

Re: Saban
Getting out at the right time when the recruiting is getting so wild its driving the old guard out. Coach K made the move at the right time too. I'm glad some of these guys are understanding and listening to their better instincts and not trying to hang on too long like Rick Pitino and others.
Heck of a career. Now get out of the swamp and retire back to the mountains.

Re: Saban
It was always my pipe dream that he would leave Alabama and return to WVA to win it's first national championship - don't guess that will ever happen

Re: Saban
It sounds like Lanning and Sark are the tier 1 guys, Kiffin and Dabo after that, then maybe a prayer Kirby would leave his own Death Star for another (he won’t).

Re: Saban
Bama doesn’t want Dabo. He hasn’t shown he can adapt to the new CFB and has struggled in a bad ACC lately.
Lanning makes sense as he was already under Saban and excelled under Kirby at UGA. He knows the SEC and can recruit like crazy.
Kirby will say no, they’ll call Lane-but he’s a head case. My guess is Lanning gets it.
