Thanks, Saint; very good perspective here. Lots of small colleges have been merging or closing down in the past 10 years. We haven't seen much of it in our area, but the northeast/midwest have seen more schools close and a handful of the financially stronger schools have merged.

State Universities are doing the same thing. Georgia Southern has absorbed two smaller colleges (Armstrong and East Georgia State). I sometimes wonder if there might be some merging of UNC system schools. WCU and UNC-A are less than an hour apart. Who knows
