UNC-C Football coverage
For those critics of UNC-C sports coverage, they should see today's Charlotte Observer. They have a full page devoted to them on page 10C about their 61-17 win over Morehead State. A whopping 1,443 attended the away game.

Our crowd had to make a decision: go to Morehead, KY or Puerto Rico and watch our basketball team beat #14 Michigan in the Championship Game from tip to buzzer. I think most people made the right choice.

I can't imagine that App fans would have traveled well to Morehead State. I'm surprised they signed this game as an away game, but I guess they had to fill the schedule somehow.

Judy was protecting her fledgling football team and was looking for W's anywhere she could find one. As for Puerto Rico, congrats, but I don't recall seeing throngs of niner fans there.
At the end if the day, I don't give a rat's. I know it's now officially the off-season, but really. Their basketball team is better and our football team is better- What else is new? I'd much rather look forward to playing FBS football in '14.
Go App!!

Re: UNC-C Football coverage
This was the first series ever signed in football - Our very first inked opponent was also our final for the inaugural season, a H:H deal made long before the CUSA invite was ever seriously expected, and at a time when we thought we would be FCS for 5-10 years. As a new program, we took who we could get.Judy was protecting her fledgling football team and was looking for W's anywhere she could find one.
Also, for the record, I really like your "new" old logo. I had this sticker on my bunk bed as a kid! To me, it's more of who ASU is than the "man in the mountain" could ever be. See ya'll Sunday!

Cline is switching it up. He has moved on from stirring the pot with WCU to UNCC...
