Yep. Memphis wasn't as much of a surprise, as Temple was always going to be a test for them. I was not expecting Houston to drop one to UConn, though.

Doesn't really change anything for Houston (other than losing the undefeated season of course) - winner of their game vs. Navy wins the division, and if they win the AAC title, likely the access bid as well.
Only thing it does is maybe open the door a crack for Toledo, but that will be moot unless Ohio upsets Northern Illinois.

The late-season AAC cannibalism shows that the Peach Bowl talk wasn't crazy.
Even if App wasn't selected, we would have still been in the conversation if we'd had beaten stAte and finished 11-1.
