This season was a no-win from the start for Napier and the Gators. An underperforming team coupled with the toughest FBS schedule in the country this season has the potential of two drunks drag racing tractor trailers into a gasoline refinery.
Regardless, I’d be surprised if UF fires him. And as little love as I have for Billy, I do believe firing him would be short-sighted.
The best thing Napier has going for him is the raging inferno burning 150 miles to the northwest of Gainesville tonight.

He needs to be fired and fired soon. The guy has been awful at UF and it won't get any better. My gut tells me the NC State/Clemson game will get ugly. If I were a gambling man I would definitely take the over on the spread.
