QUESTION AS A SEASONAL VISITOR TO THE AREA EVERY SUMMER FROM FL , I HAVE BEEN TO MANY GAMES AND ALWAYS LISTENED TO DAVID JACKSON AND REMEMBER WHEN HE LEFT. I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME REMEMBER WHY HE LEFT....NOT KNOCKING CURRENT TEAM BUT MR. JACKSON WAS MY FIRST BROADCASTER WHEN I RETIRED AND STARTED GOING TO APP GAMES / DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE .......JAY

This is based on memory, but I think it was because of the time and travel commitments eating into his personal and family life too much.

No doubt, DJ is one of the best in the business! Definitely miss his voice calling the games which is why it would be awesome if App could land him for the 4-5 ESPN+ home broadcasts each season. He could get paid without it consuming a ton of his time and we, as fans, would get a knowledgeable announcer who could talk extensively about App and other Sun Belt programs.
