I ventured over to Niner Nation for some late night comedy and was not disappointed. What an absolute shit show. Poggi has no business being anywhere near an athletic program, much less a D1 program (even if it is one of the worst ones in the nation). The guy is just a snake oil salesman who thought he could throw money at problems and buy culture. What a failure and fraud.

This is off topic, but does the Charlotte Observer only cover App football if we are playing an ACC school or a ranked team? Maybe I missed it, but I could not find a story in the sports section about the ASU-ECU game...two NC FBS teams! I understand giving priority to the ACC and UNCC (it is in Charlotte), but no story at all about our game? ASU coverage is very inconsistent at best. I live out of state and signed up for a digital subscription once for three things: App sports, the Panthers, and local news. I eventually dropped the digital subscription when the App coverage got so inconsistent. It makes no sense for the Charlotte Observer from a business perspective.

This is off topic, but does the Charlotte Observer only cover ....

Greensboro had nothing for A&T that was playing Elon. They did cover Wake, UNC-CH, and NCSU. We get some WSSU, which is fine for WSJ but for Greensboro not needed until they cover A&T as a home town team.

Lee is raising prices almost 100% for the e-edition next month and I guess I will finally drop the subscription. I hate that but the business reporter is based in W-S and it shows with the amount of W-S coverage over Greensboro. No real App coverage (there was a bit after the UNC-CH game) that is ongoing. They cover Wake and really, no one gives a shit, and that includes people living in W-S and even work for Wake. (I know some do in W-S care about Wake but in Greensboro there has to be more wanting coverage for App or UNCC or ECU or A&T over Wake.) I have finally given up, and I hate that but I am not paying $23 a month for a W-S paper and a W-S paper that does not cover App anymore and much of Greensboro at all.
