Several people last week kept saying that ULM is terrible. I did not understand that at all

Those people were going by past year outcomes, not the same ULM program or talent of previous 9 seasons. Those people don't know sport they just check scores and assume.

I like DrinkWithIt -- He's in a tough job at Mizzou, he woulda eventually won big at App State, BUT with that being said he inherited a Porsche in 2019 and played a weak schedule as someone stated on the board recently.

He was a pain in Dougie's side in 8 months on the job, which is good. Pushing the envelope to get better.

He needs to find a new P5 place like Satt got. He will be more successful than Satt if he gets enough time. He likes that P5 lifestyle and that recruiting stuff you have to do at that level.

#TeamClark isn't a P5 level coach, but he's a daggum good App State coach.

Marshall is good but I think people expected a blowout due to QB. That’s the P5 difference that usually the backup is not as big of a drop off. I still expect Marshall to win but just believe it will be fairly close.

Hard to know how Drink would have done. He didn’t exactly recruit well in his one season at App. I fear he would have hurt us in terms of culture but he I feel he handles clock management better than we have since. Shawn has had a couple of great instances of it but hasn’t been consistent. One area I know we would have been better is special teams. Link is a heck of a coach and I could see a difference with him gone in that unit.
