I watched most of NCSU/UNC. In warm ups, the Heels players looked like they didn't want to be there.
Not that they were scared, just completely disinterested in playing the game.

Ive watched unc play a few times this year and i hate we lost to them. They really arent a great team.

I agree on unc. I watched Coach Browns Post game PR. Not his typical jovial... salesman self...got a little defensive with one reporter...I do believe Maye will be gone. I do not believe the recruiting class is as good this year. I think they have peaked under his tenure. now will remain about where they are..7, 8, or 9 wins... unless they have cupcakes in ooc schedule next few years.

On one hand, the 2024 NFL draft looks to be QB rich. So you wonder if Maye comes back to UNC and aims for the 2025 draft.

On the other hand, Maye is already set to go top three in the draft and he is extremely talented. So why bother coming back for another season of disappointment?

What has Drake Maye accomplished for UNC? He was 0-2 against NC State, Clemson, and Georgia Tech. He’s yet to win a bowl game. He’s never won more than 8 games in a season. Currently his team is 7th in the ACC with a .500 conference record and a loss against 3-9 Virginia that has only one other FBS win. Maybe he can hang his hat on being 2-0 in the App State “Super Bowl”. The smart thing for him to do would be entering the NFL draft now, he will only decrease his stock by staying another year. So, he probably will stay another year and I hope he does. I will enjoy watching them start out hyped up with a top 10 preseason ranking and falling out completely by mid season as is the Carolina Way in football.

It will be between him, Daniels, and Williams. Daniels is going to be interesting. I know something about him personally that I will not put on a message board but let's just say anywhere he goes is going to have a major form of baggage to deal with.

I do not believe Sam Howell is considered a bust. He was like a 5th round draft pick ..starting for Washington this year and near the top in passing yards. Not bad for a first year starter. Time will tell if a bust as one year does not make a QB.
