Maybe it's because I am getting older, and there was a time I would have made light of this, but it's not funny. If she was defending herself from harm then I would be OK with it, but this young lady clearly can't deal with her emotions in a healthy way. Maybe she should skip class because she is distraught because her boyfriend isn't given her the attention that she commands.

But you are right, the young man should be applauded for not resorting to violence. That part won't get the proper recognition it deserves though.

It's my personality to make light of the situation, but it's because I can separate comedy and reality well. I hate it for this guy. Ended his season all because of a stupid argument.

Mine too generally. I am just a little stressed with all of this drama over the election. Wasn't trying to chastise you. If you took it that way, I apologize.
