Will hate to put a stain on their moment tomorrow, but we are playing for Mr Yosef, not to mention a ring.

Looks like the SunBelt facility arms race is heating up, first Georgia State and now Troy. We better get moving soon or be passed up by all.

Looks like a fantastic facility.

Go! Fight! Win!
They sure had a lot of aluminum showing in the upper deck Saturday.

Very nice. That end zone club seating is the kind of thing I think we should consider.

I believe we will announce something similar in the near future.

Gillin has been touring all road facilities very hard since he's been at App. I would expect a north endzone complex with club seats announced in the next six months.

If you build it they will come?!? They had a ton of empty seats Saturday and it was a huge game...they also had a couple of sections filled by the local millitary, which I'm assuming were free (which was an awesome thing to do) but they wouldn't be normal game attendees...

My understanding is that there is a wait list for club seats and that is great. Something to keep in mind thought is that I bet it is people who already come to the games so they will not be adding to the total, they will just be moving. I don't disagree with upgrades such as club seats, restrooms and so on. Adding club seats adds to the seating and that is fine but I would not be for adding a lot more than that until it is proven we need it. Sure add some but I am just not sure we need a large addition. Those of you that enjoy digging into these things may want to look at some things and fill us in. In general is attendance at collage games increasing, decreasing, or flat? How much has the student enrollment increased since 2000 and how much has football attendance increased/ decreased, or stayed flat. How does it compare. Build it and they will come was really a dream. If you eliminate the hill and increase seats will the hill buyers pay more for reserved seats? Have we asked?

With Troy's renovation who has the best stadium FACILITIES (not necessarily the best overall stadium environment as that is KB) ?

Troy?
A-State?
GaSo?
GaSt (new Turner Field)?
Coastal?
LaLa?
TxSt?
AppState?

Sun Belt schools have some pretty snazzy digs especially compared to MAC.

I know LaMo and SoAl are dumps so they are out

It will be really hard to rank them all as pretty much everyone will have newly upgraded facilities by 2018 except USA and maybe Coastal depending on their construction schedule. Even ULM opened a new football facility in their end zone this year and their stadium isn't terrible (not great either). Once Coastal expands their stadium USA will be the only team with a bad facility.

Ours is probably lagging a little behind the top schools due to the track and scoreboard. Once those issues are gone we will be right at the top.

I am not sure who has the best, but I know who should have the best. We need to upgrade the Rock, not necessarily add seats although I am not against a 30k capacity, by removing the track and closing in around Owens with a comprehensive plan that looks seemless. Nothing worse than a stadium that you can tell what sections were added on, sadly that's exactly what some of our stadium resembles now.

If a family of 4 attends an APPSTATE game and spends $160.00, they deserve a dry seat and not a possibly wet grassy hill. We need to expand and upgrade as soon as possible. GO APPS!

You make it sound like people don't choose to sit on the hill. Clearly some people prefer it.

We are playing FBS football and we need an FBS stadium! Those people who like the hill could go 0 for 6 if we have rain on game day. I look at most FBS stadiums and I don't see a hill. I see a lot of High School stadiums and I see hill type seating! Again, students who pay fees and people who spend $40 for a SEAT, deserve a quality dry SEAT!

Some people like grass. These are new or recently renovated stadiums.

I guess each one of us has our own preferences but I would still like to see our stadium to be completely enclosed. Maybe when they remove the track and bring Miller's Hill closer to the end zone, it will look more like a FBC stadium. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I'm just glad that I have my seats in the stands. GO APPS!

I agree. The hill is usually cold. I would like it to look like UVA in the photos above. That is a nice hill. WF also has a better hill as does Clemson.
