I think they see someone who's willing to take the job. Baylor is toxic right now.

He reminds me of a retired sleazy car salesman going into politics. There's something dirty about that guy and I'm sure whatever it is will surface while he's at Baylor

He seems like a good cultural fit for the Baylor athletic department.

Yeah, would like to hear "on the market" and "north of here" clarified.

The article Scott was mentioned in was just a generic article listing all coaches that would be a good fit for Cincinnati.This was not saying that he was a candidate just a sports writer going through the list of G5 coaches that have had success pretty much.

It will probably get really tough for Scott as far as opportunities are concerned. Some of these lower P5's and larger G5's seem to throw million dollar salaries around like it's nothing. If I were in his position it would take a lot of control especially when a few peers even in the SB are making way more to just go .500. And now a guy who doesn't win non-conference games is a "hot commodity"? It amazes me how a couple of wins or losses can swing a job. A coach can be on the hot seat one week, get a big win the next and all of a sudden he gets an extension. Or a coach at a G5 rattles of a few good years and he is also a hot commodity.

All that being said Scott has to be on a lot of lists. We should hope he gets what he can and is happy wherever he lands, be it in Boone or some other program. Hopefully if he makes a move it won't be at a dumpster fire or at a delusional perennial loser.

Satt would be more likely for Temple than for Baylor, though I wouldn't bet on him going there. Could see Cincinnati but haven't seen anything to indicate he's a serious candidate there yet.
