American Conference Bowl Games
Possibly I am missing something but it seems that their bowl tie-ins games really suck ---
Conf Champ Temple gets 6-6 Wake Forest --- Wow!!! and it is on a Tue at 2:30
2nd place Navy gets LA Tech - Fri at 3:30
3rd So Florida gets 6-6 South Carolina on a Thu at 1:00
4th Tulsa got Central Mich - yesterday at 2:30 in Miami and although the listed attendance was 15+k there looked to be maybe 1000 there ---
Now sure we would like to play WF or USC because they are "local" but our Toledo match-up was far superior to these
AND --- the 5:30 Saturday evening slot was OUTSTANDING

Their tie-ins are good in that they get multiple games vs. P5s. But the way it worked this year, those P5s are either 6-6 or they didn't fill the spot at all.

Other than App's game, I only care for the big games which usually pick up on the 31st. The other bowls might be on my TV while I'm doing stuff around the house, but not fully committed.

I took a look at the AAC message board earlier and it is the funniest thing I have read in a long time. Their P6/G4 BS comes off as super childish, but hilarious. If you have never read their board, I recommend it. I truly think less of some of their schools based on their message board content.

Hahahahaha P6.... That's precious.
I guess Liberty and JMU just joined the NFL East.

AAC is a good league - the best among G5s. However, I don't know of too many power conferences in which both participants in the championship game lost to Army.
