If you can sit through more than a couple minutes of any of those then more power to you.
Tulsa-Ok State could be a pretty good game. Ohio State-Indiana probably won't be, but I might watch some of it anyway.

I'm looking forward to watching Shawn Elliott's debut. Really think Georgia State could present some problems for the Sun Belt this year.

Re: Five Future Opponents on TV Tonight
Georgia State has come a long way but unless they've found a QB, they will continue to struggle. They rode Arbuckle while he was there. Last year's team actually had a pretty good D and an improved running game but no QB. I imagine they will continue to improve though and shouldn't be overlooked.AppAlum12 wrote:I'm looking forward to watching Shawn Elliott's debut. I'm with ya! I wanna see what Elliot's putting together in Hotlanta. I also wanna see what Wake's (count 'em) one-two-three QB's look like. I figure those are the guys we'll have to stop. The Deacs will fill the air in KBS with passes IF they can.AppAlum12 wrote:I'm looking forward to watching Shawn Elliott's debut. Those five plus the Braves and Falcons........I can only record and watch 4 at once! Do plan to watch GaSt as they could present some problems.

They named Wolford the starter. Unless I've missed something I think he's their guy for the time being. Though I doubt he'll have to stay in there the whole way tonight.asu66 wrote:I'm with ya! Watching Georgia State. Don't know whether to pull for them or not. Would like to see Elliott do well, but also enjoy laughing at them. Currently trailing Tennessee St 10-3 late in the 2nd and threatening to score again.

HAVE to pull for conference in all OOC games... even when it means pulling for those schools in GA. It is the only way a school from the 'belt has a snowballs chance at the NY6 game. The 'belt needs a strong OOC record.

Not sure how much we can learn about wake in their game. Doing what we should do to Presbyterian currently.

Thought GSU would look a little better. But apparently not stopping the run and fumbles for them.

Re: Five Future Opponents on TV Tonight
So Wake Forest scared me with the speed at which they were moving offensively....very fast back to the line and snapping the ball... if we have hand on hips staring at sidelines for play calls like we did vs Miami I see a TROUBLE... hope we learned from our mistakes....

Re: Five Future Opponents on TV Tonight
Reminder:
- Ga. State is still Ga. State.
- Elliott is unproven at any level above position coach.
- Just because they're in an old baseball stadium now doesn't mean their team is any better.

Re: Five Future Opponents on TV Tonight
Memphis over ULM by 37-29. ULM must be improved over last season; but they were really weak in '16.
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

Re: Five Future Opponents on TV Tonight
It was 30-7 Memphis With less than a minute to go in the 3rd. Then ULM had a classic sun belt late game flurry of points to make the final look respectable.
