Not working for them. Ugly even against UMass.

Good lord, they're down 30 and it's only the second quarter.

I doubt you'll see any tears from App fans for the Iglets.

Do you suppose Sumner makes it home with a job?

I heard they've already hired a new coach.

I think UMass will likely give us all we can handle.

Since Coastal did, certainly the Minute Men can.

Until we handle an FBS opponent from start to finish I will not take any of the remaining games for granted.

It brings me a sense of satisfaction that GSU is 5-13 since their bowl win, including a win over Savanah Stte and 3 others by 4 points or less!

Doesn't look like our friends from Statesboro did much to soften up the Minutemen for us! This result should help our coaches keep our team focused for next week. It looks like UMASS might be improving over the last few weeks with this blowout win and close losses to a good Ohio team and the Volunteers in Knoxville.

This could be spun as a "Revenge" game after we beat them for our second National Championship back in 06.

Yesterday was the 1st game UMass has played since September 30th! They are well rested, healthy, and had time to prepare. A bowl break mid-season.

Given the MASH-unit state of the Apps, next week isn’t gonna be a pushover.

Looks like UMass has been in every game according to final scores. Nobody has beaten them by more than 10 points. I’m not sure why we would have ever seen this as an easy game.

Because they were winless until yesterday and therefore they suck. Given that our record is better then theirs, we should just be able to stay home and count the win. Haven't you figured out that nothing outside the teams record factors into whether or not they are any good?

UMass is not a good team, GS may just be that bad.

My guess is they are good enough to beat us. Not saying they will beat us but what "not a good team" have we dominated. I'm not sure they are as bad as their record would suggest.

Where in my statement did I say they couldn't beat us?

I'm just not going to prop up yet another opponent to make myself feel better should we underperform based upon expectations.

My comment was more about us than them. We've come nowhere near performing to expectations.

This has been asked before but what expectations have they not lived up too? We are 5-2. 4-0 in the conference. We have won the games that we were supposed to win and lost the games that we were supposed to lose. No Meadors, no Adams, instead we have three Freshmen and a Senoir that have all played better than expected in the receiving corps. We are starting a Freshman Center who, if my memory serves me correctly, has not a single bad snap this year. No Mondo Williams but Hayes has performed well.

Sure we have given up some stupid penalties, and we aren't blowing anyone out, but man this team is young and fun to watch them grow as players. Enjoy the ride for what it is.
