I guess I can get behind Army thanks to the Air Corps. Navy has enough folks behind them ;).

Any reason the academies run the TO?

It is their way of leveling the playing field. Service academies have a hard time recruiting mammoth linemen, which the flexbone doesn't need. Plus, the academic requirements are rigorous, and players have to commit to post-graduate military service - not ideal for NFL-bound 4* and 5* recruits.

I usually pull for Navy since that's where my brother served. This year I'm for Army since my old high school has an alum playing for Army as well as one of my former students from a few years ago. Go Army!

I just hope they get a good commander in chief in my lifetime. Couldn't say that for my service.

My uncle went to the Army/Navy game a few years back. He said it's one hell of an experience.

Wife and I are scheduled to have dinner tomorrow with a couple of O-6s.... one Army and one Navy. I'm sure as an enlisted AF dude they will focus their displeasure on me.

Both team's uniforms are fire. You have the Blue Angles versus the Pando Commandos.

Did four years in the Air Force, attended App, then had career with the Coast Guard, Ol' Salt Chief. :) My father-in-law is a retired Col. (O-6) in the Army, did two tours in Vietnam. I look for a good game either way. At the end of the day, I'm going for Army.

Go Air Force... Oh wait! Grew up a Navy brat before spending 21 years in the Air Force so I am pulling for the Midshipmen!
