We shall see where this goes. Still have concerns with our wuss of a Chancellor. We would love to see football rise to ya'll's level, but honestly I think most of our base would be happy just being decent. Basketball is what really matters to us and we KNOW we can compete there.

If the prank helped to retain a 1-11 football coach and get a b-ball coach fired in his 3rd season, then I'd say it wasn't a complete failure. Judy was bound to retire in the next couple of years regardless of Mr. Davis' shenanigans. She's been at UNCC for 40+ years so she's got to be nearing retirement age. The prank may have kept her from being able to double dip (paycheck + SS) for a year.

Agreed, the Grady execution and timing was flawless. Brad “Aww Schucks” Lambert is still there with an entire new staff of assistants. What kind of a quality assistant would willingly hire on with that lame duck?

The old perm lady was going to retire soon anyhow, but she will still hire their next basketball coach before she leaves.....gotta leave a lasting impression.

I guess I am a grown-child because I find it hilarious, but I agree we don’t need any advantages. However, if something like this happens in our favor I’m not losing any sleep.

Judy looked down her nose at us, while through "Rose" colored glasses thought they deserved to be considered in the elite of their conferences. There is a reason that she didnt want us to be in the same conference and it's because deep down inside she knew we would kill the football program. In her defense, she didn't want football because she didnt see the fan support outside of a few zealots.

If we don't beat them by more than 30 points, I'll be disappointed.
