A Tuesday night and two MAC teams are playing a football game in an empty stadium. I am glad to be a Mountaineer!

Buffalo has now gotten demolished twice now. First by Army and now by Ohio.

And Miami ruined NIU senior night in another upset. Together with Western Michigan's overtime loss Tuesday, that's three MAC upsets this week.

MAC football is down this year. We will have two teams from the SunBelt playing two from the MAC in bowl games this year and without even knowing which teams will be involved I don't like the MAC's chances in either of those games. Here is a link to a thread on the MAC conference message board about the poor state of football in our conference:

Please show a little pity on us this year when bowl season rolls around. These things run in cycles and before long the MAC will be back and the shoe will be on the other foot.
