WVU offensive coordinator Jake Spavital has been announced as the new Texas State head coach. Announced yesterday.

Young guy (33) and jumped around a lot as a coordinator, but WVU's offense was very good under him. They were only held to under 35 points once this season (a 30-14 loss to Iowa State), but they scored 40 or more in nine different games (including a few they still lost).
Seems like a solid hire.

Agreed, and I think we should strongly consider Tony Gibson, their DC, if Satt bolts. Solid defensive guy who can recruit.
