Oh so young lol. 1979. Won SoCon only 7 years as a D1 program. I remember it well. Coach Bobby Cremins. Turned things around in 2 years. Bronx to Boone. Lost to Indiana in the first round.
Nope. Lost to LSU on Indiana's floor.

Also to be fair, the field wasn't 68 in those days. So, Wofford's 7 seed is the best the SoCon has done.
I was there .6th seed of 10 teams, 40 in the entire draw.Had we shot the ball at seasons average I think we would have advanced....

I've not had a positive experience with their fanbase since then to reverse it.

-2010 SoCon tournament wasn't pleasant experience with their fans as we exited the arena either.

Wofford is just Furman with a better color scheme.

The only thing good about Wawfurd making the tourney is that it's not UNCG or Easy Teasy. Both of them would be worse. One and done is all I'll say.
