Good news for UofL and Satt.
Always worry about recruiting and strength and conditioning programs changes as they are the life blood and a key to success on the field.
Hopefully, Watts, Smith, Gasparato and Clark can keep what worked in our super successful recruiting program. With help from Coach Drink and the new assistant coaches hopefully, we can take another step forward toward the next level.
Has any new assistant coach been credited with a 2020 App State Commit?
How about strength and conditioning and our team building program....Is it better than its ever been done before?
Sure would like to know what players are saying and the coaches are seeing with regards to preparation for the upcoming season.

Coach Satterfield left us for greener pastures (i.e. green back dollars) and took some of our assistants with him. Let's wish him and his program well and stop it at that. We're not Cardinals, we're Mountaineers. He no longer is.

This times a 1,000. I'll always have interest in how his career goes and hope he's successful.

He’s a Mountaineer, and he always will be.

I'm sure no one here would take a much higher paying job if offered.

Louisville recruiting is going well. They just got a 4 star QB. I think that’s their first.

It’s not that he left, no one should begrudge him for that. It is the circumstances around the departure that are an issue.

Please explain. I don't remember any special circumstances. Maybe I forgot something.

The specifics are not message board fodder. Let’s just say he gambled with chips that he shouldn’t have. He lost and in turn, some people got hurt.

Seems to me if you make an open ended comment you should back it with actual fact . "Gambling with chips he didn't have" seems like gossip!

No. He earned a degree from Appalachian State. He will always be a Mountaineer— no matter where he works.
Now, if he had left and gone to CHeat, my view would be somewhat hypocritical. But he didn’t, so I am thankful I don’t have to defend that.
