Here watching the 49ers at Jerry Rich Stadium....... Yikes. Healy's debut is not going too well. Fans are none too happy.

They are much better with Reynolds at QB.

Yeah. He is a scrambler... Made a huge difference. Credit to Healy for pulling that trigger fast

I am confused, are our fans really feeling bad for Charlotte because they suck? Isn't that an expected fact of football, at least for the foreseeable future?

I’d say Charlotte is doing just fine.

They are two big mistakes away from a tie game

I think we'll see Reynolds as a starting QB next week. That said, UNCC looks terrible in 3/3 phases of the game.

Well, Reynolds arm isn't anything to worry about. He throws good on the run, but not very far. Our DEs may have a field day with them.

One of Charlotte's little buddies WKU going down to FCS (and SBC soccer affiliate) Centeal Arkansas. CUSA is awesome.

Giving up that much points to GW isn’t a good sign. Nor the 3 INTs thrown to them. I haven’t had a chance to watch any though.

They had pretty well take. Their foot off the gas when GWU scored their third td.

Much better play from UNCC, as far as I could tell. Some sloppy play, but it’s week 1. I think I heard the announcers say 49 is the most they’ve ever scored? Might be wrong. The game was just on in the background while I did a little work.

Charlotte struggled out of the gate, but the QB change to Reynolds helped a ton. LeMay looked pretty bad compared to last season, lack of explosion. The sideline had a different and positive vibe under Healy.

Reynolds will probably get the green light next week, but his arm wasn't anything to write home about. He threw accurate balls when rolling out, and that was pretty much all they were doing. Downfield throws were unimpressive. Their receivers struggled to firmly catch balls, so our DBs should be licking their chops. Gardner Webbs defense played well, just blew some coverages and Charlotte made them pay for it (as they should've). Yes. It was only week 1, but we beat both teams at a combined 117-16 last season.... Nothing convinced me that Charlotte looked in our league.
