At least we only have 2 teams in the bottom 25. Both ran into top 15 buzz saws in week 1.

I thought the same thing! Then I re read the article and the writers reasons for omitting the Vols. I am left with one deduction: the author is a Vols fan. Southern had no chance at beating LSU and they got smacked. UT was supposed to when by three touchdowns and got completely ran off their own field. That game was not as close as its score.

If GS wins the East or the Conference after that beating, the conference reputation momentum will take a hit.

Glad to see ECU down there.

Probably true, but nothing could be worse than stAte going 0-4 with an FCS loss OOC and then winning a share of the league title.
