UNC @ Wake (9/13)
Both teams looking like garbage in the 1st quarter. Wake punts from the 50, 1st play of the drive UNC RB fumbles on the 15. Wake recovers. 2 players later TD Deacs.

Part of me wants Wake to win because I cannot stand UNC. The die hard App fan in me wants UNC to win and be undefeated so we can beat them next week.

Re: UNC @ Wake (9/13)
UNC looks like they were looking past Wake to their second tune up with us. And they have no idea what to do with the RPO. Their D looks flat lost at times.
Will be interesting to see if the holes can make any adjustments at the half. If they don’t, they get blown out by a bunch.

Holes really look like they have gotten hot headed and are thinking ahead to Clemson. I fear they are about to get rolled tonight. Mentally, that is the worst thing for App, I think. We want them playing next week the way they are playing tonight. 14-0 Wake as I type.

Get blown out tonight and kill their confidence. Make them realize they aren’t world beaters and get in their QB’s head. They’re gonna play better and better as their confidence builds. Kill that tonight.AppfaninCAALand wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 5:46 pmHoles really look like they have gotten hot headed and are thinking ahead to Clemson. I fear they are about to get rolled tonight. I don't care if they're ranked or 3-0 or what when we play them. I just want to beat them. Whether they're 3-0 or 0-3, a win over UNC is awesome.

UNC CB Morrison (no 4) will have his hands full next weekend. Have a feeling he will be targeted a lot. Surrat is just eating him up.
Give 'em hell!

Re: UNC @ Wake (9/13)
I would have preferred facing an undefeated and overconfident UNC next week. On the other hand, maybe they will just suck like tonight and it won't matter.

There is no way a beatdown like this is good for App’s chances next week.
They are also taking some injuries, though.
