Western playing 3 FBS teams in 2013

The Can'tamounts will be asking for more punishment as they will play Auburn,Va.Tech,& Middle Tenn.St. this fall.I guess this is WCU's way of going FBS the backdoor way. :lol:

Well I guess if you're going to lose anyway you might as well make some $$$.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

Their athletic department is running in the red. But they scheduled their guaranteed win over Mars Hill! Got to give the fans that one win a year.

Good Luck to them. I remember the year we played 3 fbs teams (1990) Lost 23-12 to Wake Forest, then NC State and Clemson beat us 56-0 and 48-0 :roll:

I can't laugh because we may be feeling that way when we go up against the Wolverines soon. Just hoping the team doesn't suffer from UM revenge.

I believe they are having to pay a court settlement around $600k for the death of J. Smalls, a DB, that App was also interested in from GMA. This could've very well happened under ASU's watch. If I'm not mistaken, the young man had a heart issue possibly stemming from a sickle cell trait.
Picked up via free agency by the High Country All-Stars
