Troy vs SoAL
Just starting this since I know I'll be trying to at least keep up with the game tonight.
Not sure we should pull for either? I assume Troy should have an easy game unless SoAL is turning some things around.

This is their rivalry game. All bets are off... kinda like us and Stink. If I remember right, South AL upset them two years ago...

Re: Troy vs SoAL
I'm going with always pulling against your division, but just don't see SoAL pulling out a win at Troy. Since joining the Sun Belt, SoAL has been the hardest team for me to figure out. Just never know if they're going to show up and play lights out, or be DOA.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
Troy losing to Ark St shocked me given their injuries, so SoAL winning wouldn't be a total shock. But if SoAL wins I worry much more about our game with them.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
Even though we didn’t have divisions then, if South AL hadn’t beaten Troy in that ‘17 game, Troy would have run the table in conference. Thus we couldn’t have had our share of the title, both with 7-1 conference records. All because.... You guessed it!!!... ULM snuck up on us! #beatULM #1-0!

Reckon I'll go with South Al and Arky St. I'm not proud, I don't want to see ULaLa again.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
Not that our preferences makes any difference, but we should definitely be pulling for South Al so that Troy gets a 2nd conference loss in case we lose to them next month. As we've seen, injuries can change a season and we've just lost some depth again, at RB.
We should always pull for the West to beat our East brethren. Winning our division is obviously paramount to anything else so that we make it to the conference championship game.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
Demetrius Taylor and co have to be licking their chops. SA is getting good pressure on their QB,but South Alabama’s d-line is too big and slow to get him. app would have 3 sacks in the 1st quarter I think

Re: Troy vs SoAL
I’m pulling for Troy. As long as we’re in the hunt for NY6 and top 25, we need at least some halfway decent opponents on the schedule.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
We will destroy both of them. Fat and slow up front. My god South Alabama has the ball on the 3” line and they are snapping it 5 yards back. Even the announcer is perplexed. So glad we have finally added the under center snap. They could snap and push a foot. Horrible

Re: Troy vs SoAL
Troy just had a goal line stand the their QB spiked the ball for a fumble: USA recovered and scored 6. Looks like a lot of ineptitude
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
Troy needs this one desperately, and I’m not talking about the division race. Looking at their remaining schedule, they’re going to have a hard time getting bowl-eligible.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
The announcers are trying their best to hype this game and keep people interested... They are struggling.

Re: Troy vs SoAL
And their offense was even more inept vs. Georgia Southern (no drives over 3 plays until 6 minutes were left in the game). yet GaSo needed double OT to pick up the win.
