Re: ULL and CCU
I thought Coastal might have a decent season but it looks like they may finish last in the East.

Re: ULL and CCU
Agreed. It feels like a forgone conclusion that ULL will at least be in the championship game.

Re: ULL and CCU
If we play them again, I think we win again. But given our uncertain status, they’re probably the safest pick.

Re: ULL and CCU
I would be Ok if App wins out but doesn’t win the East. 11-1 with no obligation to the NO Bowl might get us a spot as a fill in for a non SBC bowl against an attractive opponent.

Re: ULL and CCU
I agree in theory...but unfortunately that would mean alabama for us again. Basically if we dont win out we get a crappy bowl. The Sun Belt is getting pretty good...much stronger than CUSA and MAC, and honestly it's the MWC without Boise...but the Sun Belt has BY FAR the worst bowl tie ins.

Re: ULL and CCU
It could get us Orlando against an AAC team. Remember, the SB announced that the winner of the inaugural CCG goes to NO and the loser goes to the Cure. That runner up deal to Orlando isn’t there this year.

Re: ULL and CCU
If stAte gets bowl eligible, I'd be willing to wager my mortgage that they get the Cure invite.

Re: ULL and CCU
The tricky thing with the Cure is that it *should* be the second-most desirable bowl (at worst) in the SBC lineup, and is also more convenient geographically for App fans than Mobile and arguably Montgomery. BUT because it's not owned by ESPN, they're not going to help maneuver us or anyone else into that game if they'd rather have us playing on their network.
