Egg Bowl...dumbest thing I have ever seen.

#8 for Ole Miss caught a pass to pull within 1 pt with 4 seconds left. He crawled thru endzone and cocked his leg like a dog peeing. Unsportsmanlike conduct pushed extra point to tie back to make a 35 yard kick. MISSED! Ole Miss loses game by point. Dumbest thing I have ever seen. Total bonehead!

That’s up there with the Utah player who dropped the ball in celebration of a TD, only to have it fall before the goal line and then was run back for a TD

Dumb or beautiful you decide. The Piss 6 will go down in infamy.

Just fantastic! You can't even make this up.

Someone on Twitter noted that the piss made the SEC money as Miss St. became bowl eligible with that missed extra point. You can’t make this stuff up!

That has to be one of, if not THE dumbest move in a football game this year. He's lucky a Frank Howard, "Cholly" Mac, Danny Ford, Bo Schembechler, or Woody Hayes isn't his coach.

I thought the penalty would be enforced on the kick-off, not on the extra point. Anyone know the rule on that? Never seen an unsportsmanlike penalty after a touchdown cause a 15-yard penalty to be assessed on the PAT. If that was an option, I'd assume every coach in a close game would take the opposing team trying a 35-yard extra point instead of kicking off from the 20.

I believe they would have a choice of PAT or Kickoff

Most of my family is from Mississippi, and we were obviously all together for Thanksgiving. The “Piss and Miss” was a lot of fun for an App grad who was pulling for State but really didn’t care.

Was that televised? I would have loved to have seen that.

This isn't even the first time in Egg Bowl history. Two years ago DK Metcalf did the same thing! Some teams just can't get out of their own way.

I dunno...going for two with a 15-14 lead and seven seconds left might compete for the dumbest thing crown.

I noticed that as the PAT was being kicked there was a split screen showing #8 wearing some of the bling for a good play. They did not show the aftermath of said bling and how the coach that gave #8 the large necklace reacted.
Also with Miss St winning a lot of Charlotte fans will not be going to a bowl game since they may have to now drive more than 10 minutes to get to a game. They were hoping a Ole Miss win would open up the Belk Bowl for them. Charlotte will still be bowling more than likely but likely in a place that will not draw many 49er fans.

I thought Belk Bowl was specifically for SEC v.s. ACC?

Maybe they can get one at District 3 Stadium in Rock Hill.
